Fleetwood Mac Although they formed in 1967, Fleetwood Mac didn’t have the lineup everyone recognizes until 1974: Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsay Buckingham and of course Stevie Nicks. What a great lineup – and what a great sound! Get it for your site!
Fleetwood Mac Tom Petty and ”Learning to Fly” is one of my very favorite songs, and I keep my own playlist of Tom Petty, with the Heartbreakers and Solo, as a CD in my car stereo. Petty is the hippy from down South who made good in the record industry, full of heart and soul, and with an edge. The Heartbreakers’ lead guitarist is awesome. Get it for your site!
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Boston’s Ah, it was my junior year. College girls, beer, parties and sports. I had a great girl, seemed like I was invincible! Get it for your site!
Bostons Greatest Hits Jesse Cook I don’t listen to a lot of Latin music, but nouveau flamenco is an exception. I think Jesse Cook is the premier artist in this category, but really, he’s got a strong world music influence and a little pop, too. See what you think, yourself – really romantic: Get it for your site!
Jesse Cook John Mellencamp Do you remember when John Mellencamp was a big deal? I still listen to him a lot. I think his music has a lot of social conscience in it, and it really rocks! If you don’t think he’s relevant anymore, try listening to this version of “Love and Happiness.” Get it for your site!
John Mellencamp Lenny Kravitz Let Love Rule! Lenny is one of the most overlooked artists in rock music today. People just know his two hits, “Fly Away” and “American Woman:” there’s a lot more to hear. Get it for your site!

Bad Company Here’s another group that was really big while I was in college. Do you see a pattern here? Here are 47 of Bad Company’s best (and that’s Very Bad). Get it for your site!
Bad Company Peter Gabriel Peter Gabriel is totally relevant. His “Mercy Street” touches my heart. I remember when Solisbury Hill was a new song. Took me a while to figure it out, but it ended up helping me in my own life. The main song missing from this playlist is “Biko,” about the South African activist. Get it for your site!
Peter Gabriel Bryan Adams He has got to be the ultimate for date music! “From the mid-’80s to the mid-’90s, Canadian singer, songwriter and guitarist Bryan Adams was one of the most successful recording artists,” period. “Dressed in blue jeans, sneakers and white T-shirts, BA stalked stages around the globe.” Get it for your site!
Bryan Adams Carlos Santana People don’t remember Carlos’ old stuff. This playlist has a lot, have a listen if you don’t know Santana’s early stuff. If you do, I know you’ll want to anyway. Nobody makes his guitar sing like Carlos! Ah, the seventies… Glory days! Get it for your site!
Santana Rocks! Bruce Springsteen No one needs to say anything. Bruce is still the best. Have you heard his “Radio Nowhere,” and the material from his brand new album? Listen to him sing “Girls in their Summer Clothes,” a new mix, here. Get it for your site!
Bruce Springsteen The Moody Blues Late at night, when you want to just relax, come and listen to the pleasant yet energetic light pop/rock sounds of The Best of The Moody Blues. My fav is “Lovely to See You.” Get it for your site!
