Glenn Beck Leaving Fox News, Who Really Believes It Was Mutual?
It turns out that even though Beck’s show was very highly rated (#3 in cable ‘news’ shows), in terms of viewers, it was losing revenue for Fox big time. There was a loss of some $600,000 a week or a total of almost $43 million a year because of former sponsors who were unwilling to back Beck’s show, or dropped off of Fox altogether. Of course they fired him. But they like his crazy ass views and so they will make some kind of producer out of Beck. That means that he, himself, will not be spouting total insane craziness on air, and for Fox, this means much better advertising revenue.
This time Beck’s really gone over the top, folks! Don’t these idiots read history and realize that throughout modern history, it’s always been the end times. The only thing I’m worried about are Beck & Beck’s followers!
Video: Bill Maher to Rep. Keith Ellison Quran is hate-filled holy book
Hardly the Message of Religious Toleration That the World Needs to Hear
Evans Liberal Politics, March 13, 2011, commentary by Paul Evans: I was rather shocked at this, although I have also seen plenty of videos by Maher bashing Christianity, too. Actually there was no real debate on the text of the Quran, only accusations by Maher and a fairly decent job of defending his faith by Representative Ellison (D-MN), who is a practicing Muslim. This video is destined to be blown up into something major on the internet, and I really regret that. With 1.4 billion people of the Muslim faith in the world, the message that needs to be spread is religious toleration and peaceful coexistence. I am a strong Christian who believes that we must learn to live and let live and allow God to do what He will in His own time, not fight each other in an insane war of annihilation. I will NEVER believe that that could be God’s will. This video is from March 11, 2011. ~ Paul Evans
