Here Maddow and Ackerman, who is also
a writer at The Washington Monthly, tell us about
conservatives abiding need to torture “the underpants bomber”
and deprive him of all possible rights… because of the gain
for Republicans in elections on this. Buchanan takes especial
return out of the idea of “depriving the bomber of his pain medicine”.
(We can call all this the “Jack Bauer syndrome” or sicko
“sadistic torture fantasies”.) He’s already cooperating, but, heck,
let’s torture him, right? Because this is America!
